It's best to stay in one of the Healdsburg hotels when you are visiting the northern Sonoma county wine region. Centrally located near Alexander Valley wineries, Dry Creek Valley wineries and Russian River Valley wineries, there are plenty of options for every budget. Here are some of my recommendations.
This hotel is just one of the Healdsburg hotels conveniently located in the heart of wine county. It's located just off Hwy 101 and is within 10 miles of over 50 wineries.
This is one of the Sonoma hotels that has an outdoor pool, spa tub, a restaurant on site and complementary continental breakfast. The guest rooms also offer refrigerators, coffee makers and high speed internet access.

This hotel is located near Hwy 101 and is another great Healdsburg hotel option for budget minded travelers. It's one mile off Healdsburg plaza and just a few miles from the wineries in the area.
It has free parking, complementary continental breakfast and wireless internet access. The guest rooms offer microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers. The rates vary but range from around $79 to $180 a night.

Windsor is located just five miles south of Healdsburg. This is one of the Sonoma County hotels that is also close to a number of wineries and conveniently located right off Hwy 101.
I stayed at this hotel recently while visiting Dry Creek Valley Wineries and really enjoyed my stay. The hotel offers complimentary wireless high speed internet access throughout the entire hotel property.
This is one of the Healdsburg hotels that also has a swimming pool, spa and fitness center. There are 75 guest rooms and 5 suites that all include king-size or queen-size beds, microwaves and refrigerators, in-room movies, and over-sized work desks.
Rates for the hotel vary by season and events. The range for this hotel is from around $109 to around $275 a night.

The Geyserville Inn is located in the heart of wine country, just a few minutes north of Healdsburg. This family run business is rated three diamonds by AAA and is just a short drive to wineries located in Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys.
It has 41 rooms, a restaurant, pool, spa and two luxury suites. Free wireless internet connections are available in many rooms, as well as direct modem connections. A free wireless connection is also available in the lobby.
The rates for this hotel are from around $120 to around $475 a night.

One of the Healdsburg hotels located directly on the plaza, this luxury hotel has 55 guest rooms including 6 suites with deep soaking tubs and walk in showers. Each room offers cable TV, CD players, and high-speed internet access.
There is a large pool, spa and the hotel has a complimentary breakfast. Famed chef Charlie Palmer manages the Dry Creek Kitchen, a restaurant with an ever-changing Progressive American menu, located inside the hotel. The room rates vary but range from around $245 to more than $700 a night.

Located just one block from the plaza is Les Mars Hotel, a new boutique hotel in Healdsburg. It offers its guests world class services in an elegant and romantic setting.
There are 16 rooms that all offer high-speed internet access. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, valet parking and the world class restaurant, Cyrus.
The room rates vary but range from around $550 to over $1,000 a night.

If you want a more intimate experience, try one of the many bed and breakfast options in and around Healdsburg. Staying at a bed and breakfast instead of one of the local Healdsburg hotels can be a little more expensive, but they all offer a more personalized and unique experience.
The Haydon Street in is a small Bed and Breakfast with 8 rooms that all have private baths and air conditioning. Some of the rooms in this Healdsburg hotel also offer whirlpool tubs and fireplaces.
This charming option is right in Healdsburg and features a delicious three-course breakfast every morning at 9am. On Sundays, they also offer a champagne brunch.
